Carson City, check here to view the FAQ page which should help you in locating the CC mint mark.
If you would like information on the Carson City Mint, here is some of the information we have found:
U.S. Branch Mint, Carson City, NV - from our own research.

We also buy and sell Gold and Silver bullion, and publish up to date bullion prices with our
buy/sell spreads listed for your quick reference.
Our site also includes a silver dollar error gallery for your viewing enjoyment, just in case you
wanted to know what we collect. This includes the Amazing Broken CC (one of our Carson City silver

1915-S $50 Panama-Pacific 50 Dollar Octagonal PCGS MS63
California and San Francisco in particular, was the realm of the $50 gold “slug”. Both the Wass Molitor Company and
Augustus Humbert produced ever intriguing huge gold coins in response to a shortage of coinage during the exciting days
of the California gold rush.
The Panama-Pacific Exposition held in San Francisco in 1915 saw the issuance of several beautiful commemorative coins by the
U.S. Mint and as a tribute to those heady days of the 49ers a gorgeous $50 coin was minted both in an octagonal and a round
variety. These coins are exceedingly rare with the octagonal variety sporting a mintage of only 645 pieces.
This piece is one of the finest examples we have owned. It is a marvelously well kept and visually striking coin with exquisite
golden-orange coloration. Vivid highlights by a pleasant satin luster and remarkably clean surfaces accentuate the eye appeal.
Although graded by PCGS MS-63 we believe the coin is a strong pretender to a grade higher and as such represent a significantly
good value to the serious numismatist looking to add some spectacular to a portfolio.

Unopened GSA dollars
As a collector I think most of our clients would agree that leaving a package with your latest piece unopened for even a short
time is next to impossible. In fact, when arriving home late from a show after a grueling 10 hours of traveling I have yet to
see Allen leave any awaiting box unopened. Now imagine leaving one sealed for well over 30 years. Collectors with that kind of
fortitude are in short supply. We have been fortunate enough to acquire a small group of 1882, 1883 and 1884-CC GSA dollars
still sealed in their original shipping boxes. Each piece is still housed in its original postmarked case with a registered
number denoting the enclosed date.
We are offering these intriguing pieces up for sale blindly. Who knows if what’s inside is a finest known rarity ready to offer
the purchasers significant return. Don’t miss out; it is a rare occurrence to find such an exciting piece of history.
Buy one unopened 1882-CC GSA for $425.00
Buy one unopened 1883-CC GSA for $400.00
Buy one unopened 1884-CC GSA for $400.00
Or get yourself a complete set 1882, 1883 and 1884-CC unopened for $1199.00

1 Zeiss Loupe |
|
Zeiss Brand 9 Power Loupes.
Here is a product we really
believe in. The Zeiss 9X loupe is clearer and offers
superior magnification than that of most 10X loupes
on the market. The shape of the glass itself lets
you get a clear field of magnification over the entire
surface of the lens, not just the center, and an anti-reflective
coating keeps excess light reflection out of your
field of view. We use these loupes every day for our
purchases and highly recommend them to anyone
purchasing high quality coins. Think of this as one
of the best investments you can make in your own coin
grading ability!
